Terms of Service
last updated · september 11, 2026
1. Agreement
These terms govern your use of meragpt.com and the meraGPT API (the “Service”), operated by Okyasoft Pte Ltd, a company registered in Singapore, trading as meraGPT (“we”, “us”). By creating an account, buying credit or calling the API, you agree to them. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you agree on its behalf and confirm you are authorised to.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live. Keep your account details accurate. You are responsible for everything done with your account and your API keys, so keep keys secret and revoke any you think are exposed. Tell us promptly at hello@meragpt.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
3. The Service
meraGPT provides small language models, each built for a specific task, through a pay-as-you-go API and a web playground. The models, their limits and their prices are listed in our documentation and on each model’s page. We may add, change or retire models; we will give reasonable notice before retiring one you are using.
4. Prepaid credit and billing
- The API is paid for with prepaid credit, bought by card through Stripe. Each request is charged per token at the price listed for that model when the request runs.
- Credit is valid for 12 months from the date you buy it, after which we may expire any unused balance. If we ever do, we will email you first so you have time to spend it.
- Credit is not refundable, except where the law requires otherwise. If something has gone wrong on our side, email us — we would rather fix it than argue about it.
- If you turn on auto top-up, you authorise us to charge your saved payment method the amount you choose when your balance falls below your threshold, never exceeding the monthly cap you set. You can turn it off at any time.
- When your balance reaches zero, requests are refused until you add credit. A request already running when that happens is completed and charged.
- We may change prices. Changes apply to requests made after the change, never to requests already processed, and we will announce increases in advance.
5. Your content
You keep all rights in the text you send (“input”) and, to the extent we have any, we assign to you our rights in the text the Service returns (“output”). We use your input only to produce your output. We do not store it and we do not train on it; our Privacy Policy sets out exactly what we do and do not keep.
You are responsible for having the right to send the input you send, and for how you use the output.
6. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- break the law, or infringe or misappropriate anyone’s rights;
- produce content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, sexually exploits minors, or promotes violence;
- misrepresent who wrote a piece of text where a law, an educational institution, or a platform whose rules you have accepted requires you to disclose it;
- attempt to extract, reconstruct or copy our models, or use the Service or its output to build a competing model;
- probe, overload or disrupt the Service, get around rate limits or access controls, or access it other than through our API or website;
- resell or share access except through a channel we have approved.
We may suspend or terminate access that breaks these rules. Where we can, we will tell you why first.
7. Output
Models make mistakes. Our models are built to preserve the facts in what you send, and we check for that, but we do not guarantee that every output is accurate, complete or fit for a particular purpose. Review output before you rely on it.
8. Availability
We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Requests may be refused with a rate-limit or capacity error when the Service is busy; failed requests are not charged.
9. Our intellectual property
The Service, our models, and our software and documentation belong to Okyasoft Pte Ltd and its licensors. These terms give you the right to use the Service as described here and no other rights.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using the Service and close your account at any time; we will refund any unused credit on request. We may suspend or end your access for a material breach of these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination do.
11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top of this page and email account holders before any material change takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
