Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website saves to your browser to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure usage. We use them too, but only for the things meraGPT actually needs to work.
2. What we use them for
- Authentication. When you sign in with Google, we set a session cookie (via NextAuth) so you don’t have to sign in on every page. Without it, you can’t use the dashboard.
- Box access. When you open your hosted box, we set a short-lived signed cookie scoped to
.meragpt.comthat the edge proxy verifies before letting any traffic through. This is how only you can reach your box. - Payments. Stripe sets its own cookies on the checkout and customer-portal pages it hosts. Those are Stripe’s and follow Stripe’s policy.
We don’t use third-party advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics that follow you around the web.
3. How to control them
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the meraGPT cookies above, signing in or opening your box will stop working. If you block Stripe’s cookies on the checkout pages, checkout will likely fail.
4. Changes
We’ll update this page if our cookie use changes. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change.
